At first glance, it is not a very good idea to put a background image for your company business card. Indeed, you need a clean and sober background for two reasons.

First, for the sake of readability: your name and contact details can quickly become difficult to discern. Second, because a poorly chosen background image can quickly ruin your desire to look serious and professional. 

Keep Simple 

Do not overload the business card. This tool is made in order to give precise information to the customers of your prospects, which is why it must remain simple and above all readable. The information entered should be understood immediately.

If the graphic design is too intensive, the recipients will not pay attention to all the information present on the business card. It is therefore important to select a sober, refined, and simple graphic creation. All important information should be immediately recognized. 

Simplicity also comes down to the graphic choices that your customers will make: fonts, colours, etc. Therefore, they should be advised to stay sober in these choices.

However, we must be careful not to go into the too simple, it is true that the border between the two is difficult to locate.

But to enlighten you a little, you can advise your customers to juggle two fonts as well as to choose a dominant sober colour.
