There is a huge difference between digital advertisement and traditional ads like poster or flyer and, of course, you may have to consider what your budget for the ads is, but these are some things that you should consider for your next marketing campaign!
Digital Ads
Working with digital ads sometimes gets hard, because they have their own formats and sizes with specific measurements to public the picture with the best resolution possible.
Facebook ads may need a resolution of at least 1080x1080 and it is recommended that the text is brief too.
Same thing happens with Instagram ads: they require high resolution. The image width must be of 500x500 pixels. The text could be longer in this platform, up to 2000 characters, but not everybody reads the whole post, and you should be wise with what you write in your copy to get their attention.
If you want to publish on LinkedIn too, then your text and images could vary a bit more. The sizes could be either 300x250, 160x600 or even 496x80. For the description text, it is best to keep it simple and short, up to 300 characters max.
