Shape What to Include on Your Wedding Invite

What Should You Put on Your Wedding Invitation Card?

The following components should be included on every common wedding invitation card:

  • Who is the host?
  • The invitation to the wedding
  • The couple's names
  • The time and date
  • The setting
  • Reception details
  • The dress codes
  • A separate RSVP card is required.
  • Line by Line Wedding Invitation Card Wording

Even for more formal occasions, the bride's parents are traditionally the hosts of the wedding and are recognized at the top of the invitation.

However, regardless of who pays the bill, putting the names of both sets of parents as hosts is a kind alternative. In addition, an increasing number of couples are holding their weddings or doing so in collaboration with their parents.

You may also say "Together with their parents, Emma and Jax request the pleasure of your company..." if it's a joint occasion hosted and paid for by the couple and both sets of parents.

The Invitation to Attend

There are several methods to express your desire for your visitors' company. The British form of "honor" suggests that the event will take place in a church or another place of worship. Here are a few possibilities:

  • "The joy of being in your presence "
  • "During the wedding of their children "
  • "Would be delighted to have you join them "
  • "invite you to join them in their celebrations "
  • "Your attendance is an honor. "
