Creating Infographics as a Graphic Designer Part Two
Infographics Templates
Once you've used graphics software to create your infographics, you're going to need a template. Templates are simply patterns that you can use to create your layout on your own.
This means that you'll need to find a template that you like - one that will fit your topic and the information you'll be putting into it. If you're creating attractive infographics, you'll likely want to use several templates so that you can try out different designs. Many software packages include many different templates that you can use.
To find a template that you like, you'll need to look through your chosen graphics application library. In particular, look for templates that are appropriate to the topic you'll be covering.
For example, if you're creating an eBook about decorating your home, you'll likely want to find a template that shows you different aspects of interior design.
However, if you're creating a diagram showing you how to make solar panels, you'll probably want to find a template with charts of solar cells. The point is that you should find a template that you feel comfortable working with.
Once you've found an appropriate template, you'll need to import it into your graphics program to begin creating your infographics. At this point, it's a good idea to have some plan with the layout you've made.
This will help you quickly identify where you'll be putting in the various elements such as text, diagrams, and other graphics. It will also help you determine how much content you'll need - after all, your infographics won't be complete without a lot of texts! Once you have done all these, can you track how well your professional banner printing business is doing!
