Despite the advent of digital technology, business name cards are still a key element in making a good impression on your potential clients, and ensuring they remember you. A well thought out business name card can yield a lot, including a contract.

We believe that your business name cards are more than just your contact information. They are also an extension of your brand, and give you credibility. They are more than just a piece of paper!

So we've launched a new contest category, business name card Design, so you can call on the talented designers in our community and get business name cards you can be proud of.

Here, seven contest organizers share their tips for creating the perfect business name cards to make the right impression on your prospects.

1 - Define Your Goals.

It's crucial that your business name cards represent your brand image. If your company conveys lightness and fun, your business namecard should do the same.

Also, keep your target audience in mind so you can create a good balance between aesthetics and practicality. Remember, your business name cards are the first thing your potential customers will get from your company. So it's essential that they communicate your brand message in a relevant way.

2 - Keep The Future In Mind.

Once you receive the graphic files, make sure you can change the information in them. Graphic designers sometimes use "raster" elements that may be fine for other designs, but not for business name cards.

It is essential to be able to change the information on your cards if you ever change numbers or hire staff. Also ask for the names of all fonts and purchase the rights to use them if necessary. Even if the font is free, you will need it to change the information on your cards.
