4) Think About Design

The design also reveals the identity of your company. In order for your customers to recognize you, it is essential to use the same graphic charter for all your commercial documents. This graphic charter is represented by a set of color codes, readable fonts and a page layout.

Thus, the colors to use depend on your logo design. We strongly recommend that you choose a color that reflects your field of activity. For example, green for ecology. For this, feel free to refer to our infographic on the meaning of colors.

There is no need to use a rainbow of colors and too many different fonts at the risk of having the opposite result of what you want.

5) Don't Forget The Finishes

To stand out from your competitors, you can choose different finishes such as a matte or glossy lamination or a selective varnish. However, remember that with a finish on your business name card, you will not be able to write on it with a pen!

The matte or glossy lamination is applied to the entire card to reinforce its rigidity. It allows several renderings:

- If it is matte, the general rendering will be softer, ideal for activities of well-being, health, nature...

- If it is glossy, the colors will be bright and vivid.

The selective varnish will highlight some key elements of your business name card, such as your logo. Depending on your activity, you can also afford some distinctive elements such as silver or gold gilding, printing on translucent PVC, etc.
