2) Choose The Paper

The paper you choose for your business name card has a capital importance because it conveys the image of the company.

For a pleasant touch and a good grip, choose a coated paper (glossy or matte) with a minimum thickness of 300gr. For a more institutional activity such as a lawyer, physiotherapist, notary... your choice can be directed towards a textured paper.

To Avoid :

- Low-end or too thin papers.

- Bristol board is slippery to write on.

- Printing and cutting "home-made".

3) Optimize The Content

As far as the content of your business name card is concerned, you should limit yourself to the essential information. These must answer three main questions: Who? Who? What? What? How?

- Who? indicate the name of your company, your first and last name.

-What? Specify the activity of your company and your function. If possible, describe your "Unique Selling Proposition", i.e. what makes your company different from others.

-How do you want to be contacted? Fill in your contact information to reach your company as well as your direct contact information.

Don't:

- Your business name card is not an advertising insert, get to the point.

- The term "manager" is not a function, use instead sales manager, general manager...

- Put your photo on the business namecard, unless you are an artist and your face is your product.
