3. Colour

Unlike sticker design and other types of graphic design, there are very limited colours available for company chop. It is because the ink option itself is limited. Typically, there are 3 types of coloured ink for company chop: blue, red, and black. However, there are some companies chop makers provide more options like white coloured-ink and grey-coloured ink. Design your sticker while you have your selection of ink in mind.

4. Simplicity

There’s no need for complex design and information on your company chop. Choose 1-5 elements to complete your stamp design. Some elements you can put on your stamp design are the company’s logo (mandatory), company’s name, company’s registration number, the year your company was established, your company’s tagline, company’s email, company’s phone number, and company’s website. Remember, “the more” is not necessarily the better.

5. Negative Space

Just like any other graphic design, you need to play with the negative space on your stamp design well. Why? Because negative space ensures focus and memorability on your branding. It gives room to your company’s logo to breathe.

6. Typography

Ensure your text is legible, so avoid font size smaller than 7 pts. Choose the font that is readable like sans serif or serif fonts, avoid calligraphy fonts.

7. Brand Identity

The most important thing when you design and make your company chop at a company chop maker in Singapore is to make sure it is in line with your brand identity. Since company chop acts on your company’s behalf, it has to reflect your company’s spirit and identity.
