The Images

Most websites are not equipped with a virtual reality or augmented reality fitting booth. The images of your products are therefore very important in the sales process, which means that you have to take care of their presentation, especially on a reduced surface and touch like a smartphone.

Here Are A Few Things To Keep In Mind:

  • The images should not be displayed larger than the screen of the smartphone on which it is displayed.
  • Provide clear and relevant images of products: Sometimes a correctly displayed image on a computer can become blurred or truncated on mobile.
  • Allow buyers to zoom in! As online shoppers cannot try out your products, they will seek to see as many details as possible before making a purchase decision.  For example, if you are selling shiny sicker printing, allow them to zoom in to see the shiny details.
  • Include more than one image, so buyers can see the product from different angles, in the color variations available, or even put it in context for use.

Availability / Stock

It is very important to indicate on the product sheets the availability of these products, that is to say the state of the stock.

This is very important information, especially for customers who wish to withdraw their product at a physical point of sale (click & collect).

Delivery

Finally, you must clearly indicate on the one hand the cost of delivery and on the other hand the delivery time.

This information must be presented directly and must be highlighted (so: not relegated to the bottom of the page).

Do your best to place both information in the same place: consumers are used to arbitrating between delivery time and delivery cost.
