We usually print on just one side of the page. We are so used to this approach that we don't even think about it. However, you can need to print on both sides of the page at times. Most modern printers have duplex printing, which allows you to print on both sides of the page with the press of a button. This option is not included on all printers. If your printer does not, you will have to learn a few tricks.

Auto Duplex Printing Allows You to Print From All Ends.

Examine the printer to see if it allows automatic duplex printing. Whether it does, you're good to go. This detail can be found by consulting the printer's manual, doing an online search, or contacting the manufacturer. It's all available in the following formats:

  • Navigate to the 'File' menu (in Microsoft Word)
  • Click the ‘Print' button.
  • Check to see if ‘Print on Both Sides' is possible by clicking ‘Print One-Sided.' If it is, so choose it.
  • Your printer is now set to automatically print on both sides of the paper. When you press the 'Print' button, the papers will be printed on both sides neatly. You are not required to do anything else. It's as easy as that.
  • If the printer does not support automated duplex printing, you have two choices: use manual duplex printing or print the front and back pages separately.
  • Manual duplex printing allows you to print from all ends.

Take the Steps Below to Print On Both Sides of the Paper Using Manual Duplex Printing:

  • Navigate to the 'File' menu (in Microsoft Word)
  • Click the ‘Print' button.
  • Click ‘Manually Print on Both Sides' and then ‘Print One-Sided.'

You are now ready to manually print on both sides of the paper. This means that after printing the first page of the book, you will be asked to flip the paper over and feed it back into the printer to print on the back. Until the postcard printing is in this manner, make a few test prints to ensure that the printouts are accurate.
