Embossed Business Card: What Benefits Can You Expect Part Two
Characteristics Of An Embossed Business Card
Pleasant to the touch and a real eye-catcher, the embossed business card is easily recognizable by certain elements of its content which, to be highlighted, are not at the same level as the rest of the inscriptions.
We can distinguish two types of embossed business cards: the business card with gilding and the business card with embossing.
The business card with gilding highlights its finish by applying gold or silver cover to create relief. This technique, also called "hot stamping", enhances the finish of the business card which lets the high-end side show through.
The business card with embossing, unlike the gilding which uses gold or silver cover, is obtained from the modification of the surface of the paper. This consists in bringing out or pushing in one or more elements of the content of the card, to create an “embossing” effect.
The embossed business card may or may not be standard sizes.
Advantages Of An Embossed Business Card
In general, the embossed business card uses thick paper that supports printing techniques to be able to benefit from the qualities of a resistant business card. It is easy to handle.
The major advantage of the embossed business card is that it conveys a luxury image that enhances that of the company. On the other hand, given the complexity of the printing technique, the embossed business card is quite expensive. But it worth the money spent on it!
