How to Develop The Perfect Logo For Building A Brand Part Two
#3 Choose Optimal Colors
It's no big secret that colors have a psychological effect. They also suggest certain associations.
You are, therefore, always sub communicating your brand essence by choosing the color of your Logo.
Therefore: Not every color fits every company.
Here is a brief overview of the properties that you can express with colors:
- Black symbolizes beauty and tranquility.
- White represents order and simplicity.
- Gray: knowledge, professionalism
- Blue represents tranquillity and confidence.
- Green represents biodiversity, naturalness, sustainability, fitness, and peace.
- Brown represents naturalness, warmth, and culture.
- Yellow represents sunshine, a positive attitude, and hope.
- Orange represents drive, creativity, and passion in an angry tone.
- Red represents zeal, self-assurance, and bravery.
- Pink represents femininity and eroticism.
Of course, these colors have to be adjusted further because not all green and red are the same as green.
The general rule is: stick to one or two, at most three colors - it is difficult enough to coordinate them. Anything beyond that is possible, but it quickly seems overloaded. Exceptions: Google and eBay.
#4 Find The Font That is Perfect for Your Business
If the logo contains font components, the next move is to choose the best font for the job. You have already chosen a temporary font in phase two, which would now be changed.
In the best-case scenario, text and pictures complement each other rather than compete. The most critical factor is that the font matches your branding and brand logo design name well.
