Graphic Design Fonts - Making the Right Choice Part Two
Choose Typeface Carefully
Choosing the right font is one thing, but there are other aspects that need to be considered. Sometimes, the graphic designer does not know about the relevance of certain kinds of fonts.
For instance, some people may like the look and feel of Helvetica, but the typeface is not appropriate when used for something like a billboard ad.
This will make the user get frustrated with the website and may stop him or her from using the site ever again. This is why it is essential that the typeface be chosen carefully.
Designers often go for fancy fonts because of the low cost involved. However, most people would not want to read such fonts, which are too fancy and not readable and have absolutely no practical purpose.
All it takes is a little research to find out the usefulness and relevance of different fonts. Once this is done, it is time to determine which fonts will be best suited for the graphic designs.
Most website designers know the importance of choosing the right font, especially when their website is designed around the brand or logo or on their flyer printing.
