Today, more and more people are trying to make their day more productive. But why? That is because people think by being productive, they can achieve what they want faster or they can get more in the same amount of time. That is the reason why productivity is essential now.

Actually, there are lots of tips you can apply to make your day more productive. But what about a few tips to make your mornings productive? If you are interested enough, here are some of the tips you can follow!

1. Get Enough Sleep

So, the first tip to make your mornings more productive is that you need to get enough sleep. Actually, the word "enough" depends on you, but the recommended amount of time for an adult to sleep is 7 to 9 hours. Having enough time for sleep will help you recover your body to be ready and feel energized in the morning.

Unfortunately, there is still a misconception that working more and getting less sleep can make you more productive. Maybe for some people, 4 hours of sleep is enough, but that doesn't mean that others need the same time to recover their bodies and minds! Instead of making you more productive, not getting enough sleep can make it difficult for us to memorize, focus, and respond. Also, if it happens for a long period of time, it will have an impact on several health problems.

2. Prepare Your Morning the Night Before!

To make your morning more productive, you can start planning your day the night before. Also, you can make a list of what you want to accomplish in the morning. So, once you wake up, you already know what you need to do and accomplish at the beginning of the day! For some people, that could be as simple as preparing lunch for their children or maybe watering their plants.

3. Don't Start Your Day by Checking Your Phone

Starting your day by checking all the notifications on your phone won't make your morning productive. That is why you better avoid that. Checking your phone in the morning can interfere with your ability to prioritise your task. As a result, that can make you less productive.

If you are always triggered to check your email, Instagram, WhatsApp, or any notification on your phone after turning off the alarm, then try turning the plane mode on while you sleep. So, when you wake up, there are no notifications that can trigger you to start your day by checking your phone.

4. Do the Most Challenging Task First

Another tip for making your mornings productive is to start your day doing your hardest task. Have you ever heard about will power? Will power is an ability that enables you to do challenging or difficult things! The good news is that will power is at its peak in the morning or when you just starting your day, and it will deplete with time. That is why, to make your day productive, you can start by completing your toughest task early in the morning while your willpower is still at its peak!
