3. Company Registration Number 

As we mentioned earlier, the company registration number is usually included on the company chop, right? Actually, this is one of the main reasons why many businesses still continue to use the chop now.  

But how does the registration number keep many businesses using the chop? That is because based on the Companies Act in Singapore, the company registration number should be legible on documents issued by the company. Because of that, the company chop is usually used to print the registration number and company name on the document. 

Note: You no longer need to use the chop to include the company name and registration number if both information is already printed on the document.
