Search engine optimization (SEO) for an online blog aims to improve the positioning of a blog in Google search results and increase sales or ad revenue through increased digital visibility. In every blog SEO strategy, the on-page SEO, the off-page SEO, and the technical SEO should be considered.

#1 Use Structured Data

You should use all structured data (schema markup) that make sense for your website.

Not only does this help search engines understand the content of the entire website and individual pages.

It also gives you the option of, for example, enriching the presentation of your website in the search results to set yourself apart from the other search results.

Since Google will continue to expand the search results pages (SERPs) in 2020, the structured data is essential for any website that wants to be among the top results.

#2 Ensure a Positive User Experience

When creating your content, you should consider the user experience.

This means that the layout and formatting of the content should allow users to quickly and easily navigate your content to find the answer to the question as quickly as possible.

Factors that affect the user experience are:

  • Clear and straightforward headings such as sub-headings
  • Visual content such as images or infographics
  • The division of the text into many clear sections
  • The use of lists and infoboxes

The better your content logo design, the more likely users will consume your content and find the question your answer.
