5 Simple Tips Before Making Animation Part One

The question that is often asked by those who are learning animation for the first time is where should you start. Of course for making animation in Singapore, it should go straight to the practise of making it directly so it's easier to understand.

However, we will not immediately suggest you directly to software or animation applications. Well, here are 5 simple tips you can do before you start making your own animated creations. Cheque it out! 

1. Create a Timeline Plan and Workflow 

First, make a timeline of the plan and workflow in advance. Write clearly in the order in which you complete each stage.

Set a clear time for each process being carried out. Setting a timeline and workflow is very important because it guides you to work on the next section. 

2. Create a Whole Concept and Story 

Second, the most important thing is to first create a concept rather than your animation. A story begins with a concept. Write the outline first, then develop it completely and determine where your animation will go.

Indeed, during the next process, the story structure that you have created may change, but the most important thing is that you stick to the basic concept and story. Try to make it as complete and detailed as possible, such as camera position, etc. 

3. Create Character Details 

Third, after you create the concept and story, of course, you will get the characters. However, a more detailed description of these characters is needed. How does he express when he is angry, sad, happy, talking, laughing.

Describe how when he was resting, moving, jumping. Also draw fine details, such as hair waves, moles, piercings/tattoos. Also determine how the nature of the character, how the hair colour, how the colour of the shoes.

Therefore, it is important to draw a complete picture of your character and give it the appropriate colour.
