II. Respect of the Graphic Charter

Be it formal or informal, a company always has a graphic charter. It is this which ensures consistency and harmony between all the documents that emanate from it.

In particular, it will determine the choice of colours . Remember that this choice is not neutral, because each colour is implicitly meaningful, for example:

  • The yellow “warms up”. Solar, it encourages optimism.
  • Orange inspires sympathy, it is moderate and friendly.
  • Red is moving forward.
  • Parma encourage spirituality.
  • Green is a sign of well-being and softness.
  • Gray is a sign of balance and tranquillity.

The mixture of colours is a sign of confusion. Therefore, it is advisable to stick to one and do it in a nuanced way.

III. Good Use of The Business Card

Check

Before printing a professional business card, do not hesitate to check each of the information appearing on it and have it validated by the recipient (if you are a service provider). Nothing is more obnoxious than a misspelled name or the wrong phone number. So, it is better to read your card carefully and twice rather than once!

Manage

Don't skimp on the number of your business cards! You should always have at least ten on hand and in good condition. In other words, you must have it in your office, in your car, in your wallet, in your briefcase, in short… everywhere. Also remember to renew them regularly, because over time, they end up deteriorating. In fact, nothing is more distressing than handing out a feathered or, worse still, stained prestige business card.

Tidy

Card holder and filing cabinet are required! There are some very beautiful and very chic ones and, moreover, they give an extra touch of professionalism.
