3. Design

Choose a design with colours that perfectly represent your business. A bright and colourful card might not be representative of someone who has a funeral business, but it can represent an artist well. Your design also needs to be consistent with your brand identity to create a consistent brand experience for your customers.

4. Content

Keep your content short and concise as it is not a brochure. There is limited space in a name card and you have to leave a considerable amount of white space. This white space ensures people focus on important parts of your card. Because of that, make sure to only put important contact information on your card.

5. Typography

How you stylize the content of your card matters. If there is no hierarchy, it will be hard for people to find important information quickly. You also need to choose legible font and font size. Sans serif is the safest option for a name card.

6. Texture

There are several finishes you can consider using for your name card. Each finish has its own characteristics that complete your card’s overall look. If you only print your card on thin paper stock with no finish, your name card will look cheap. But if you choose to print name card in a high-gloss finish, your card will look shiny and glamourous. Choose what kind of finish works best for your name card.
