3. One Bait Is Enough

A press release is not an essay but a bait. It is not about listing all information on the topic. A journalist prefers press releases with short paragraphs and does not want to be overwhelmed by huge blocks of text.

Four lines, as in the section you are currently reading, are sufficient. The overall length of the message should also be short.

4. Be Sociable

If you've caught a media representative's interest, that's half the battle. It would be best if you now made it as easy as possible for him to contact you.

The name of the contact person, along with their phone number and email address, must be found at the top of the press release.

5. The Topic Belongs In The Headline

Some headings can only be understood if you read on. However, this is not what the press wants. A journalist immediately wants to know what it is about.

Feel free to build a title like this: My company did this and that. Example: Kiasuprint Pte Ltd makes amazing customized self ink stamp.
