Tips for The Formal Wedding Invitation Part One
On such an important occasion, the external shape also counts, not just the wedding invitation text! The wedding invitations are the calling card of your wedding. Nevertheless, you do not have to spend a fortune to give your invitation a noble robe.
Now, we have put together some basic tips on how to make a good wedding invitation card and the structure of the content so that you can send out great formal wedding invitations for the most beautiful day of your life.
Why is it Worth Ordering More Invitation Cards?
As a rule, you order significantly fewer wedding invitations than you expect guests. After all, families or couples usually only get one invitation. Nevertheless, it is worth ordering a few more cards and keeping them in reserve. So you have the opportunity to invite guests later. Maybe because one or the other declines or simply because you have changed your mind and want to add to your list.
Ordering more invitation cards makes you more flexible - and therefore, a reserve is worthwhile.
How Far in Advance Should the Wedding Invitation Be Sent?
Send your invitation to the wedding in good time, because your guests have to plan too! If you have already warned everyone, it is not urgent. Otherwise, your guests should have received the invitation at least three months before the date.
If you have sent save-the-date cards in advance, your guests should receive the invitation cards no later than three months before your wedding.
If you do not use save-the-date cards, a lead time of between four and six months is recommended. The latter is remarkably advisable if you have guests who travel a long way and who may need to book flights in addition to a hotel room.
In this way, you give everyone the chance to take care of everything in good time - so that your wedding invitation conveys precisely the anticipation that you feel like the bride and groom right from the start.
