6 Tips For Printing Your Business Name Cards Part Two
Tip #3:
Add your full name and job title. You may want to adjust this based on how you prefer to be addressed. Include relevant contact information such as your email address, home phone, and maybe even your cell phone. In some cases, your physical address or social networks can also be placed on your business name card.
Tip #4:
Not sure whether to use single-sided or double-sided business name cards? Use both sides. The back of your business name card is a great way to add value and extend your sales pitch. It's a great way to keep your business name cards in the hands of potential customers longer and add a call to action.
You can also leave the back blank. This way, you can write a personal message or additional contact information to make a deeper connection and help you stand out from the whole pile of other cards they may receive.
Tip #5:
Don't forget your bleed area: Unless the background of your business name card is white, you will need to include a bleed area. It is important to have a 3mm bleed area around all edges of your design. Make sure that colors, background images, and layouts extend into the bleed area to avoid leaving white lines after cutting.
Tip #6:
No design? No problem! There are various online design tools you can use as a base to create your visual, such as Canva. Using a business name card template makes it easy to create. Just add your logo, contact information and colors and you're done!
