Did you know that Netflix doesn't show the same program every time? We reveal how you can get the service to show only what interests them. Even if you only watched a film for your partner's sake.

In addition, the series enjoyment now finally remains spoiler-free. And you will learn how to enjoy a movie evening together even in a long-distance relationship. You can find these tricks and much more in the tip section.

Am I Really Watching In HD?

As a rule, you can quickly see whether you are watching high-resolution content. But if you want to be on the safe side or suspect that you are only being served a lower resolution, you can quickly find out in the settings.

To do this, first, move the mouse to the account symbol and click on "Your account" in the menu that opens. Under "My Profile," click on "Playback Settings" to change the quality.

As a rule, "Automatic" should be preset here. If you always want to watch HD, you should select "High." However, this consumes up to 3 gigabytes per hour for FullHD content and 7 GB for UltraHD. In the end, confirm your selection with "Save."

Does The Movie I'm Looking For Even Exist On Netflix?

If you want to watch a certain film, you can, of course, search for it directly on Netflix. Or you look first at "Werstreamt.es." This has a decisive advantage:

If the film or series is not available on Netflix, you can see at a glance where else you could find it, for example, on Amazon Prime Video or Sky. If there are costs there, you will be shown them right away.
